Construction Start of the Agri-PV Plant in Angelsberg

We are excited to announce the beginning of construction for our next Agri-Photovoltaic (Agri-PV) plant in Angelsberg!
This project combines renewable energy with agricultural land use, creating valuable synergies between climate protection and biodiversity.

Wildflower Strips for Greater Biodiversity

We are particularly eager to see the development of the multi-year wildflower strips, planted with native seeds. As seen from an aerial perspective, these strips were already established in the first construction phase. They enhance biodiversity while also serving as a compensatory measure for the skylark—without requiring additional land use.

A step towards sustainable agriculture and renewable energy!

Key Facts of the Agri-PV Plant in Angelsberg:

  • Total area: 4.83 hectares
  • Agri-PV technology: Single-axis trackers for optimal solar yield
  • Installed capacity: 1.75 MWp
  • Annual electricity production: Equivalent to the energy needs of approximately 500 households

With this project, we are taking another step toward the future of Agri-Photovoltaics in Luxembourg—where sustainable agriculture and renewable energy go hand in hand.

Stay tuned for updates on the project’s progress!
